We are excited to announce that a new member has joined the SBC’s Board of Directors as the Treasurer.

Emmanuelle Choquette is a cultural worker, author and independent curator. With a master's degree in art history from UQAM, she is particularly interested in practices of appropriation of archives that aim to rewrite hegemonic historical discourses and take a critical look at exhibition and curatorial formats. Her work often involves collaborations with artists, contributing to curatorial projects, exhibition texts and articles. She also supports cultural organizations in their strategic development through training and mentoring.​
