We are pleased to announce that Mary McNee will be joining the SBC team as our new Communications & Exhibitions Assistant for a 30-week period, supported by Emploi-Quebec! 

 

Born in Toronto and residing in Montreal for the last 6 years, Mary graduated from Concordia University with a BFA in Intermedia arts with a minor in art history in 2020. Her areas of focus are video, performance, and strengthening Canadian art institutions. 

 

Mary is looking forward to learning from the team at SBC, especially in regard to collaborations, and public programming. Some of SBC’s past programming that Mary is most inspired and excited by has come from artists such as Ursula Johnson, Amanda Gutiérrez, and Couzyn van Heuvelen.
